Social Dances in Charleston

Charleston Swing Dance Association is actively supporting Forte Jazz Lounge and their regular Sunday night swing with the Roaring Twenties Hot Jazz Dance Club.

Charleston Argentine Tango Society welcomes all levels of tango dancers at the MUSC Wellness Center on 45 Courtenay Drive, Charleston, SC.  Currently, there are “Practilongas” (pratica / milonga) on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month, 12-4 pm in the main studio. The entry fee for Wellness Center members is free; for non-members it's $15 at the front door (mentioning that you are there for Argentine Tango). Parking is free on Saturday at the Wellness Center.  Although it is not required by the Wellness Center, Covid vaccination is highly recommended for tango participants.  If you wish, please feel free to wear a mask.  No partner necessary.  Wear smooth-soled shoes.
