Information for Bands and Callers

We generally dance one Friday a month.  We have a very enthusiastic, cross-generational group.  We almost always have newbies show up and have a solid core of experienced and gracious dancers who welcome them and help them out.   You will be appreciated and we are confident we will all have fun!

We pay $100 per band member up to a maximum of $400 for the band.  We pay $100 to the caller.  If you drive for more than two hours to reach us, we will pay an additional $5 per hour per vehicle round trip for the drive.  (Please carpool!)

Let us know in advance your drive time; using Mapquest for the travel time works well.

If you need assistance with lodging, let Ann Birdseye know (see contact details below).

Our sound tech arrives at 6:30 to open up the venue and set up the band and caller.   Doors open at 7:15 and the dance begins at 7:30 with a beginners' walk-through and ends at 10:30.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED in performing an additional gig (not a dance) while you are here, contact John Holenko of Hungry Monk Music.  The Hungry Monks perform at our dances and as a stage act and also plan events in our area.   [email protected]  843-571-3857
